The climate change produced is produced mainly by the emission of greenhouse gases (GHG) that cause global warming.
Latin America and the Caribbean produce 12 percent of GHG in the world, but it already suffers serious effects on the economy, biodiversity, health, food, livelihoods, and living conditions for displaced and poor populations.
The infographics are based on information obtained from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC) and the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) of Peru .
